What's Your Point of View?

Mr Lee Yi Shyan gives us an interesting opinon on how does an artist/novelist (Arts student) and an engineer (Science student) look at a cup of coffee with different perspectives. (ST 2 June, p. 38)

We would hence like to boldly propose the following new "Point of View" ad, for HSBC!

nik : Red is the opinon of a Science student, while black is the opinon of an Arts student. Hopefully it should be clearer now.

Cheers,

Haha, it means that the science student see the coffee as 75 c, the "arts" mask as f*ck, the calculator as yes!, while the arts student sees sunshine, yes! and f*ck, respectively.

But they both see Project Work as f*********ck. Maybe the words "PROJECT WORD" don't project themselves very well (yeah, yeah, shoot me).

Aaand on a separate note, I totally agree with you, there couldn't be any other more commonly detestable paper.

A commonly detestable paper but nevertheless an easily 'scorable' paper.

Witty. I assume the fact that only red text gets shown at the end says something about discrimination in the business world.

Is this some recent local commercial I haven't seen recently? Maybe that's why it was less hilarious, although I could see where it was coming from.

It has been ages since I last commented on your cartoon. That is because I am on pay-as-you-use surf time and really have other stuff to look into. Trust MOE to make PW an examinable subject. It would have been less taxing on everyone's part if it had been incorporated into curriculum time. Eg: Science has PW, English has PW, etc and which serves as a percentage of assessment for that subject rather than as a stand-alone subject. No wonder all the kids r complaining.
